The end is nigh!

With 8 days of school remaining, we are in the process of finishing up our learning.  Today, we are celebrating our butterflies coming out of their chrysalis.  The students were very excited to see this happening in real time.  This has been a great learning experience as we watched the caterpillars go from very small to quite large in a matter of days, then as they climbed to the top of the aquarium to form their chrysalis.  In math, students have continued working on counting objects or finishing math worksheets in their binders.  Mainly, though, we have been having a lot of fun!Next week, we will acknowledge Indigenous Day on June 21 as we read the book We are Water Protectors and completing a fun, yet messy activity.  We will also be participating in Sport's Day on June 23.

June 17, I will be sending home IPPs for families to review, sign, and return.  IPPs must be returned no later than June 23.  If you have any questions or concerns, please reach out and we can have a brief meeting.
