The holidays are almost upon us!

As we move towards the holidays, we have spent the past week learning about Kwanzaa and comparing it to how people celebrate Hanukkah.  Below is some of our artwork to capture our learning. Next week, we will be looking at how we celebrate Christmas and using pictures to complete our chart.  Look for photos over the holidays on your child's Iris account for their learning!

We have also continued to practice our Christmas song, Up on the Housetop, for the Winter Celebration and while we will definitely need Monday to practice some more, I am sure that we will put on a great show for the school.  Lastly, the weather is starting to feel and look more like winter each week.  Please ensure your child has clothes that are suitable for cooler weather as we spend time outside every day.

Important upcoming dates:

Dec 16 Fun Lunch and Kinder Treat (wear spirit wear)

Dec 17 Last Day of classes – pajama day (keep in mind we still go outside for recess – wear layers)

Jan 4 TUESDAY school resume
